SURF SERIES
We are extremely excited to introduce this collaboration with Ken Marvel of Marvel Boards and Boats. Ken is a master surf board and longboard builder who exclusively hand crafts these bodies for Sonder.
Each is a unique work of art.
SURF SERIES T-TYPE
A unique collections of woods are sourced by Marvel Boards and Boats, and then hand-crafted into Surf Series guitar bodies. Classic shapes with surf inspired body carves, and premium hardware are the focus of the Surf Series Guitars. The T-Type is currently available for pre-order. The S-Type and J-Type are coming soon.
Necks are hand picked to match the bodies, however, you can also request a certain neck with your Surf Series Guitar. All necks will be hand-oiled by Sonder Guitars, and headstocks will sport the vintage style Sonder logo.
Each of the Surf Series Types has a certain pickup configuration. The T-Type features two Tele style single coils. The S-Type features 3 Strat style single coils. The J-Type features 2 humbuckers.
